Advice and care
Care tips for Caladium Heart to Heart®

Caladium Heart to Heart® varieties are strong and hardy, but a few tips will ensure that you get the best performance from them.

When to plant?

Plant Caladiums once the outside temperature is at least 15°C and the soil temperature is at least 18°C. Cool temperatures will slow down their growth and delay flowering in the garden. It is better to enjoy them indoors as houseplants until it is warm.

Where to plant?

Caladiums grow well in containers and gardens with well-drained soil. If your garden has clay soil, it is best to grow Caladiums in containers or raised beds.

Sun exposure

All Heart to Heart® varieties grow well in partial shade; some varieties can also tolerate full sun.
