Weather resistant

Compared to previous varieties, the new Petunia Vista varieties from Proven Winners® are rain resistant and flower continuously from mid-April until autumn.

Combinations

Proven Winners® Petunia Vista varieties reach up to one metre in height; the large funnel-shaped flowers almost completely cover the leaves and they are very beautiful on their own or in combination with each other and/or other vigorous plants, including Verbena, hanging Geranium, Bidens or Lobularia (Snow Princess).

Advice and care

HOW TO CARE FOR VISTA VARIETIES

The Proven Winners® Vista varieties are hardy and easy to care for; just a little effort is needed for a great result. Only the original Vista plants have the Proven Winners® pot and label.

EXPOSURE AND CARE

Light: Vista Petunias prefer open locations in bright light.

Care: They are very hardy plants and do not need any special care. Remove faded flowers for regrowth of new buds.

USE AND CULTIVATION

Use: It is recommended to plant Vista Petunias in late spring after the last frost. Ideal for landscaping, baskets, balcony trays, flower beds and large containers.

Cultivation tips: Vista varieties are very easy to grow; they withstand low temperatures well, but not below zero degrees.

WATER

Water Petunia Vista regularly. Throw away excess water to avoid stagnation. Pay attention to the pH value, which should ideally be around 5.0 (acidity).

FEEDING AND SOIL, PARASITES

Soil: Use a soil with slow-release fertiliser.

Feeding: Weekly at 2-3 g/litre.

Pests: Petunia Vista varieties are very resistant hybrids. Diseases or parasites are rare, but look out for aphids, lepidoptera and thrips. If unsure, seek advice from your trusted gardeners.

FLOWERING

Flowering lasts from mid/late April until November.

Growth and flowers: Abundant flowering with large or semi-large funnel-shaped flowers. Compact or vigorous drooping growth, depending on the variety.
